The agreement between your firm and CaseMerit for using the service.
Last updated October 22, 2026
The service
CaseMerit is software for managing an immigration practice. By creating a workspace you agree to these terms on behalf of your firm, and confirm you are authorized to do so.
Accounts
You are responsible for the people you invite, the access you give them and keeping sign-in details safe. Tell us straight away if you suspect unauthorized access.
Acceptable use
Don't use the service to break the law, to store information you have no right to hold, to send spam, or to try to access other firms' data or disrupt the service.
No immigration advice
Templates, calculators, draw data and AI suggestions are tools to help you work faster. They are not legal or immigration advice and may not reflect the latest rules. You remain responsible for the advice you give and the applications you submit. CaseMerit is not affiliated with IRCC or the Government of Canada.
Trials and billing
Trials are free for the period shown when you sign up. After that, the plan you choose is billed monthly or yearly in Canadian dollars, plus applicable tax. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
Your data
Your firm owns the data it puts into the service. You can export it at any time. We handle it as described in our privacy policy.
Liability
We work hard to keep the service available and correct, but it is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you in advance by email or in the app. Questions: support@casemerit.ca.
